So I totally wrote that last journal this morning when I was still in "omgomgomg" mode.

I wanted to write a journal about how I first began my plushing journey and how it got me here, kind of as an intro to new people too!

Originally I started out cosplaying. I have been doing that for over ten years and going to conventions since 2002. In 2009 I started working on my most ambitious project, a girafarig quadsuit . This was a huge costume though and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it forever, so I decided that with what little leftover faux fur I had, I would try to make a plush out of it. I never planned to continue plushing until I started looking up other custom plush work on DA, and I was intrigued. I bought some fleece, used left over materials and practiced making anything I could, mostly pokemon because it's my favorite game series EVERXD I found the LJ community pokemon collectors and I started to take small commissions, and worked my way over to DA to try more and more plush techniques. I almost quit after a few months of getting started, but picked it back up again a few months after that.

I have made such amazing friends after being on Deviantart. Although my account says I have had it for around 5-6 years, I only started getting really active on it around 2010. Thank you everyone for the support, and I never expected my plush making to get where it is today I have no plans to quit any time soon!! <3
