Garchomp Plush Twins by Bubble-Rhapsody Garchomp Plush Twins by Bubble-Rhapsody
Garchomp Twins- Commission for :iconzorbo17:

Garchomp, so many spikes and details! I had to make two of these for two different customers, but I made them both at the same time. It took forever but now all my commissions are complete!

Made entirely of ultra cuddle minky fabric, and has satin stitched embroidery for their eyes. There are hand embroidered details for their gills and nose as well. Machine and hand stitching.

Please don't ask me for a Garchomp again for a while ;~; <3 I need my sanity in tact!XD

They are so cuuuuute! LOVE the details! Did you hand stitch embroidered the eyes? I'm thinking about getting into plush-making and I love the look that embroidered eyes have but I cannot afford to get an embroidery machine yet so I'm thinking about attempting to hand embroider things like eyes and any other details. Any advice?

Thank you! :D Actually, the eyes are done with a normal sewing machine! You set it to have a zigzag stitch, and then you just move the fabric very slowly so the stitch is very close together! It's very simple :) Good luck with your plush endeavoring!

Thank you for the advice! I haven't gotten a sewing machine yet and was thinking of trying it by hand-sewing - do you think that would be too hard? (sorry for all the questions, trying to figure out what I'm up against haha)

to get stitches that tight it would be difficult, and it would be more work than it would be worth imo. I would say for that kind of stitching use a machine, though it is possible with embroidery thread by hand, it would take a very long time.
