Looks like I'll have to change my in game garchomp's name from Cinco to Seis :V

6th garchomp plush...DangXD This one differs in that he is made from smooth Minky instead of the ultra cuddle..which made him ten times harder haha. He has machine embroider details on his fins, tail and neck. Eyes are satin stitch embroidery and is combo of machine and hand stitching. he stands around 7-8 inches tall c:

I can't put into words how adorable he is ;; UGH GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH I love all the details and his colors and ffff he is precious! I had no idea smooth minky was harder to work with than ultra cuddle! I use both but sew by hand, is it something with the machine? He is BEAUTIFUL though and I will treasure him FOREVER okay ;; THANK YOU *flails*

yay I'm glad you like him!!XD The Ultra cuddle minky has lots of stretch to it, so it is easier to mold the fabric with stuffing and get away with some easier tricks. This minky I used didn't hardly have any stretch to it, so everything had to be much much more accurate pattern wise or else it wouldn't work like the Ultra cuddle did. However!! I like the look of this little guy, though I prefer using the fluffier fabric for him. It makes him look much more huggableXD I'll let you know when I have shipped him! c:

Ah interesting! It's strange, I've had some smooth minky that's really stretchy, and some that is a lot less stretchy like you said. I tend to be able to do better with the less stretchy kind, I have trouble with the stretch causing my plush to look warped LOL. It's interesting how different artists prefer different materials! I love the fluffiness of the ultra cuddle too but this guy is perfect to me c: I love him so much, thank you!
