Springbok Plush- South African Animal.

This plush is special. It counts as my first original plush, and it also is for a little girl who lives in South Africa. I will be visiting there in less than a month, and my mom told me she would love to have one of my animals. They'll be moving back to the USA soon, so i thought an african animal would be appropriate :)

The Springbok is also the national animal of South Africa, and the mascot for the Rugby team!

This springbok is made of Minky Fabric entirely, with thread sculpted horns, machine embroidered eyes, and a hand embroidered smile. He/she has a plastic safety nose and it's both machine and hand stitched. I am quite pleased with the results, and he stands around 8-9 inches tall :)

It's just adorable!! I love the colors, the face, everything! I am impressed with the horns, they look time consuming, but they turned out perfect.

How cute! :la: I love seeing non-equines in the FiM style. I think this is the most unique one I've seen so far. Excellent work, and I'm sure the recipient will love it! :D
